Belief updating and sensory attenuation in schizophrenia

Whether delusions track a failure of belief revision, a failure to attenuate self-generated sensation, or both. A beads task and a force-matching task in the same people.

Prediction error can be resolved by revising the model or by acting on the world. Akathisia may be a pathology of the second route.

Fatigue and depression overlap on every questionnaire that tries to separate them. Effort-based decision making offers a behavioural separation.
